TREKKING - WALKS

Alvear Cord:

Esmeralda Lagoon: The path crosses you upset them, going into in centennial forests of lengas and cohiues until reaching the mountainous cord Alvear. In this place we arrive to the lagoon Esmeralda in full mountain range, then a journey begins until the base of the Albino glacier.

From this place you continuous for the hint of ski of the glacier until arriving at the refuge of the Andean Club Ushuaia. In this point she/he takes a path that concludes to the foot of the Glacier Martial.

The Summits of the End of the World: It is a trekking voyage, ascending to the hills that surround the city for the north, from where the best panoramic views in the area are obtained.
The journey begins in the one it limits of the city (neighborhood point view of the beagle) it is ascended to the hill Of the Means, lagoon Margot, hill Roy, walking the edge of the Roy from where there are excellent views of the city, the bay and the mountain range toward the north. Then you Martial descends toward the glacier. We go by the refuge of the Andean Club Ushuaia, of the Martial and you continuous descending until the base of the skylift.

Tierra del Fuego National Park:

Pampa Alta: This path traffics for lengas forests and guindos, allowing the walker to connect the camping site Laughs Pipo and Ensenada. When reaching High Pampas one can have a panoramic view of the Canal Beagle.

Senda Costera: This journey that unites the camping site Ensenada with the sector Lapataia is a good opportunity to know the marine coast of Earth of the Fire, financing the bays of Ensenada and Lapataia.

Hito XXIV: From the camping site of the lake Roca it is trafficked by the path that the coast of the lake travels whose waters are originated in glaciers, arriving to the landmark XXIV limit with Chile.

Del Turbal: This is an alternative to consent to bay Lapataia. Walk for lenga forests, skirting an abandoned castorera, being able to appreciate the impact caused by the beavers to the vegetation. Later on a turbal is surrounded until reaching the national route nº3.
